For those scarfing up the multiple joys of this Austin, TX quintet's brand new self-titled debut LP, they'll also want this older EP. Although Your Biggest Fan is weak-for-them Smiths-like piano pop further botched by producer Ben Hillier (Doves, Elbow) -- though the second half picks up a little -- both B-sides are better produced than the LP (sad, that!) and make the EP an important purchase, especially the onrushing "Trouble." It's another insistent rocker that would easily find a home on the early EPs, which is high praise. And "Sway" is their prettiest folk track with violins. Gorgeous! And kudos to the group for not including any of their 13 EP tracks on the new LP. Old-style value for money! ~ Jack Rabid, Rovi
