The second single from k.d. lang's decidedly un-country album All You Can Eat was Sexuality, and the maxi-single came with several excellent remixes, as well as the original album version. The "Teri Bristol Vocal House Mix" is a joyous, exuberant, sexy house remix, with lang's delicious vocals just oozing intimacy amid xylophones and house beats. Additionally, a tight single edit of this version is found on track four. The "Angel Moraes Main Mix" is another house mix, albeit a little smoother than the first. Then there are two intimate, slower-paced versions: the "Tony Maserati Final Radio Remix," complete with an electric piano set against lang's luscious vocals, and the "DJ Krush Full Mix," which pits the song against a slow, shuffling beat. Finally, the single closes with the original, organic album mix, which is a quirky song reminiscent of 1960s lounge music. k.d. lang is one helluva dynamic artist -- on this single alone, she delves into lounge, pop, and house, with hints of hip-hop and even electronica. ~ Jose F.
