- Bob Marley
Main Performer
Steve Leggett
Yet another repackaging of Bob Marley & the Wailers' Lee "Scratch" Perry productions from 1970 and 1971, Reggae Master doesn't really bring anything new to the table short of presenting the track lineup in surround sound on the second disc, which, if one is familiar with the original two-track productions, amounts to overkill. The DVD portion of the set doesn't contain any Marley video, and feels more intrusive than anything else. The music? It stands the test of time, and many feel that the material the Wailers recorded with Perry is the best they ever did. ~ Steve Leggett, Rovi
