The 41st volume of the Now series features three songs that were, during the week of its February 2012 release date, within the Top Ten of the Billboard Hot 100: LMFAO's unapologetically mindless "Sexy and I Know It," Katy Perry's "The One That Got Away" (the sixth Top Ten single from her Teenage Dream), and Jessie J's Perry-aping "Domino." Several other inclusions peaked just inside the Top 20, while a couple others -- Lady Gaga's "Marry the Night" and Nickelback's "Lullaby" -- were duds in comparison. Lady Antebellum were the lone country representatives on Now, Vol. 40 (with the crossover ballad "Just a Kiss," more of an adult contemporary single than a country one); Luke Bryan and Toby Keith bring more country flavor for this disc with, respectively, "I Don't Want This Night to End" and "Red Solo Cup." Coldplay ("Paradise") and J. Cole ("Work Out") round out the set with a pair of the compilation's highlights. ~ Andy Kellman, Rovi
