Avant's entry in the Icon series covers his first six albums -- 2000's My Thoughts through 2010's The Letter. The disc contains only 11 tracks, but functions as an adequate anthology, as it features all of the sophisticated singer's Top Ten R&B singles: "Separated," "My First Love" (a cover of Rene & Angela's 1983 quiet storm classic, featuring Keke Wyatt), "Makin' Good Love," "Read Your Mind" (featuring Snoop Dogg), and "4 Minutes."
