- Molly Hatchet
Main Performer
Stephen Thomas Erlewine
Molly Hatchet's career, for many, boils down to Flirtin' With Disaster and assorted other songs from their uneven albums. Originally released in 1990, Greatest Hits does a fine job of summarizing the highlights, and the 2001 reissue goes even further, adding three tracks that weren't on the original 12-track collection, along with liner notes from Martin Popoff. The end result is the definitive summary on the pedestrian Southern boogie band -- the only other album outside of Flirtin' With Disaster that most fans will need. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, Rovi
