Gladys Knight & the Pips recorded several singles for the Fury label in the early '60s, including "Every Beat of My Heart," which was a hit in 1961, before moving on to Motown Records in 1966. This collection pulls together those early sides, showcasing Knight's strong voice and the group's energetic arrangements.
