Drowning is a compilation of remixes by various producers of Cleveland Lounge's single of the same title. The song happened by accident when resident Moonshine producer Dave Aude (Cleveland Lounge) remixed a never before released song in the label's catalog. With only 500 originals pressed, the single became popular among more commercial drum'n'bass DJs. In early 2000, Moonshine asked DJ Micro, a trance DJ, to remix the jungle song for the growing trance market. Drowning is a collection of remixes of Aude's single by various producers, including Joshua Ryan, AK1200, and two remixes by Aude himself and Micro.
