This 21-track Christmas Collection is essentially a sampler drawn from eight previous holiday albums released by Ross Records, including one by the Londonderry Singers; another by the Londonderry Boys Choir; three instrument-themed albums featuring hammered dulcimer, organ and chimes, and saxophone, respectively; an album from classical acoustic guitarist John Roth, and a new age holiday outing. Taking a couple of tracks or so from each, the end result here is a mellow, varied, and pleasant set of Christmas carols, hymns, songs, and instrumentals. ~ Steve Leggett, Rovi
