The split-CD maxi-single for Bossa Nostra's "Chico Desperado" and "Jackie" features a wealth of remixes, most of them being dance remixes. In total, there are five versions of the former and four versions of the latter, including "Original Radio" versions of both. The featured remixers include Pasta Boys, Atjazz, East West Connection, Street Vibes, and Pedro Van Der Volt. Most of the resulting remixes fall somewhere in the gray area between deep house and acid jazz.
