This DualDisc release includes a 16-track CD of some classic mid- to late-'60s British pop/rock singles, while the DVD side adds the entire album in 5.1 Surround Sound as well as photos, liner notes, and artist biographies. The song themselves are the ticket here, though, and the set includes such great singles as "Pictures of Matchstick Men" by Status Quo, the Tremeloes' "Here Comes My Baby," Marmalade's almost overblown and yet still majestic "Reflections of My Life," the timeless Cold War instrumental classic "Telstar" by the Tornadoes, and a pair of Donovan's earliest hits, "Catch the Wind" and "Colours." Also worth noting here is an obscure, early track from David Bowie, "I Dig Everything." ~ Steve Leggett, Rovi
