If you were to trim Waters' enormous contribution to the blues down to bare bones essentials, this 11-track best-of, part of MCA's 20th Century Masters Millennium Collection would make a nice representative package. The usual suspects ("Long Distance Call," "I'm Your Hoochie Coochie Man," "I'm Ready," "I Just Want to Make Love to You," "Mannish Boy," "Rock Me") are aboard, along with "Trouble No More," "Sugar Sweet," "Forty Days and Forty Nights" and the studio version of "I Got My Mojo Working," all in the correct single versions, making this collection a bargain any way you look at it. ~ Cub Koda, Rovi
