Summary: In the 1980s and 90s, long before punk rock became a lucrative commodity, the kids in Little Rock, Arkansas were turning out some of the most vital music in the entire country. Sure Milwaukee may be three times bigger than Little Rock, but in terms of great bands there's simply no contest. Back in those days, Richard Matson was a member of the popular Little Rock band Shake Ray Turbine. What better candidate to document the local music scene than the man who was there to experience it firsthand? Much like the scene itself this documentary is entirely DIY, shot over six months and taking its name from the seminal Little Rock compilation disc that featured some of the best bands in town. It was an incredibly supportive and tight-knit scene, but thanks to this film you don't have to be one of the lucky few to experience the early days of a music scene that's still going strong today. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
