Summary: Writer-director Adrian Selkowitz divides his exploitation feature Sex, Drugs, Guns into three loosely-related segments, each based on one word in the tripartite title. The movie begins with Sex, where 24-year-old Eugene moves in with his grandmother following the tragic death of his parents. Despite his reception of an enormous inheritance, he grows apathetic, dumps his long-term girlfriend, and strives to overcome his numbness and experience emotion once again. Part two, Drugs, concerns six-year-old Becky and eight-year-old Brian, siblings growing up with a psychotic, abusive father and a comatose, bedbound mother. The father leaves the house, commanding the children to clean up while he's gone and threatening to beat them if they refuse to comply. Becky and Brian, however, decide to ignore their dad's instructions and "play doctor" by administering medications to their mother. Finally, part three of the film, Guns, concerns 45-year-old Duayne, a nutty employee of a weapons manufacturer who decides to kidnap his boss and the man's family to teach them a lesson they will never forget.
