Synopsis: Players can once again choose from a cast of noble Autobots or evil Decepticons and battle through 25 levels of fast-paced, top-down shooting to determine the fate of Earth as Hasbro's "robots in disguise" return for their second feature film, and second movie-based game, in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. The arcade-influenced setup puts an emphasis on scoring as may points as possible, so gamers must grab power-ups and string together consecutive shots to earn combo multipliers. Driving missions offer some variation to the straightforward shooting, and many of the levels culminate with boss battles that give players an opportunity to unleash some of the series' trademark acrobatic attacks. Multiplayer fans can also use the Ad-hoc wireless mode to team up in a co-op shooting gallery mode, where the ultimate goal is to earn a high score by surviving for as long as possible. ~ Christopher Brown, All Game Guide
