Synopsis: Viewed as the spiritual successor to the PlayStation title Tail Concerto, Solatorobo: Red the Hunter follows the adventures of an anthropomorphic dog named Red Savarin and his robot Dahak. Set in a world where islands float in the sky, players will travel amongst the clouds in their own airship while taking on quests, racing planes, and battling sky pirates, monsters, and robots. During his journey to save the world from destruction Red will earn money and raise his Hunter Level by completing quests and gain experience from battles which will increase his life bar. Solatorobo features a mix of 3D polygons and hand-drawn 2D backgrounds as well as animated cut-scenes by Madhouse, who are known for such animated films as Ninja Scroll, Trigun, and Death Note. ~ Jonathan Sutyak, All Game Guide
