Synopsis: Prim and proper Professor Layton returns to Nintendo DS to solve more logic-oriented puzzles in this prequel to the first three titles in the mystery series. In Layton's first case, he must figure out how and why an apparent ghostly giant is destroying a town's residences. Players will use the system's touch-screen interface and their powers of deductive reasoning to solve the many puzzles provided by the town's peculiar inhabitants. The game continues the distinctive art style and music found in earlier titles, with hand-drawn backgrounds and anime-inspired characters mixed with full-motion video sequences that reveal more of the story as you progress.
