Players begin by taking a personality test, with the answers they provide determining which of the 19 playable Pok?mon they control. They then head off for an extended series of the dungeon-crawling adventures, purchasing new items and supplies in Treasure Town, training for battle, interacting with more than 490 different Pok?mon characters, and unraveling more of the Pok?mon Mystery Dungeon storyline in a series of "Special Episodes."
