Synopsis: Phoenix Wright prepares for his final courtroom appearance in Trials and Tribulations for Nintendo DS. The defense attorney with a flair for the dramatic must outwit coffee-guzzling lead prosecutor Godot, who wants nothing more than to prove Wright wrong. To help win each case, players must once again collect evidence, interview suspects, examine crime scenes, and find inconsistencies in witness testimonies. The second game's "psyche-lock" system returns, where the goal is to reveal a character's hidden secrets during interrogation. Trials and Tribulations adds the ability to participate in earlier events in the Ace Attorney timeline, including the opportunity to play as Mia Fey in two of the game's five pivotal cases. The play mechanics are otherwise the same as in previous titles, with the touch-screen interface used for the investigation phase, and the microphone used to say (preferably with feeling) "objection" or "hold it!" during the climactic courtroom phase. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide
