Synopsis: Midway's arcade-style take on playground hoops continues with NBA Ballers: Chosen One. Once again players will compete in a one-on-one, a two-on-two, or a one-on-one-on-one match against some of the NBA's best and brightest. The story mode has players creating a custom athlete and following a path to stardom that entails recording music videos, signing lucrative endorsement contracts, and more. To become the best of the best, players will need to advance through six episodes, each spanning five chapters worth of challenges and taking place in exotic locales around the world. Legendary recording artist Chuck D serves as emcee throughout the highly cinematic story mode. New on-court features include "act-a-fool" combos, which involve humiliating your opponent by using him as an unwitting accomplice to your outlandish moves. Players can leap on their rival for an extra push to the basket, bounce the ball off his foot before grabbing the rebound, perform a breakdancing routine to knock him off his feet, and more. On the other side of the ball, players can unlock more than 30 "shut 'em down" super moves to prevent easy scores. The "create-a-baller" option features an assortment of new clothes, accessories, tattoos, and special abilities to customize your onscreen persona.
