Synopsis: Magnacarta 2 is a console-style role-playing game with deep, complicated characters and a detailed, manga-inspired art style. Players lead a customizable party of characters in the exploration of dangerous territories, and in battles fought through a system that combines turn-based tactics and flowing action. There are no presentational breaks between exploration and combat, maintaining a cohesive quality to the developing adventure. The action is seen from a medium-distance, angled perspective by default, but a free-moving camera allows the player to assess each situation from the best viewpoint. The game's storyline is a sweeping epic drama of love, honor, and betrayal, featuring noble heroes in a time of legends. Voice-acted cut-scenes highlight key moments in the plot. As in earlier Magna Carta games, including the PS2's Tears of Blood, players make difficult decisions that influence the development of the story and the fate of the entire world.
