Synopsis: Gentle gamers of all ages adopt bear cubs as virtual playmates, in the first follow-up to Microsoft's premiere family franchise for the Kinect motion-sensing accessory. Onscreen animals can mimic the movements of their owners, and learn to follow several gesture and vocal commands. When the animal is close enough for tactile interaction, a pair of translucent hands appears, allowing players to scratch ears or rub a belly by making the motions in view of the Kinect sensors. Players can choose one of five different bears as their own. The game plays out on a virtual island, which players may safely explore with their pets, unlocking new rewards and discovering collectables and upgrades. A friendly animal guide called Bumblina is on hand to show new players around the island. In addition the five species of bear cub -- black, grizzly, cinnamon, glacier, and polar -- the game also includes the five feline species featured in the first Kinectimals.
