Synopsis: Jumble Madness is a touch-screen translation of the popular pen-and-paper puzzle series, which appears in hundreds of newspapers across the United States and abroad. Jumble puzzles present a list of words with mixed-up letters alongside a single-panel cartoon with a riddle or hint in its caption. Players unscramble the nonsense anagrams in the list to form proper words, and this reveals a second set of letters. Sorting the second set of letters into a word or phrase gives the answer to the riddle in the caption, and often completes a pun on a familiar saying or a makes a crafty pop-culture reference. DS gamers choose from five variations of Jumble play, including the straight-up "Daily Jumble," "Jumble Crosswords," "Jumble Rumble," "Jumble Jong," and a wireless multiplayer Vs. mode. ~ T.J.
