Synopsis: Codename: Panzers -- Cold War moves Stormregion's real-time strategy series from the battlefields of WWII to the most frigid era of Soviet-NATO relations, when rising tensions kept the entire world on edge. The fragile peace is shattered when, during the Berlin Blockade, simple human error results in the collision of an American cargo plane and a Russian fighter jet. Stalin and his Red Army seize the tragedy as a chance to attack NATO forces, kicking off an alternate history in which the former allies battle for control of Europe. Gamers can wage war through an 18-mission single-player campaign, fighting intense urban battles and occupying structures to earn prestige points. Realistic weather fluctuations and era-authentic war machines were designed to increase in-game realism, and characters from the previous Codename: Panzers games return to provide series loyalists with familiar heroes.
