Synopsis: Gamers who enter Activision's Arcade Zone will find motion-controlled adaptations of such popular midway activities as Skee Ball, Whack-a-Mole, and Spin'n'Win, as well as hit video games such as Kaboom!, Freeway, and MegaMania, from the company's early years as the original third-party publisher for the Atari VCS console. To get in the zone, players create custom characters to represent them in the game. The virtual amusement park features five distinct environments: Arcade, Egyptian, Aztec, Haunted, and Pirate. The prizes are in the theme as well, with stuffed animals, Chinese finger-traps, electronic gizmos, and miniature hovercraft available to players who score big. The greatest rewards, however, may be the new games and challenges that are unlocked through play. Characters must play through all the activities in each zone in order to make all the locked games available, and to face off against the ultimate opponent, the resident "Arcade Legend."
