The Director of Vendor Management is responsible for building relationships with the product suppliers for the organization. Additionally, they ensure that vendors meet or exceed their contractual obligations by delivering quality products and services on time, contributing to the efficiency, productivity, profitability and success of the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Selection of the company's product and service providers and procurement to reduce operational costs.
  • Develop strong relationships with our vendors and facilitate discussions in order to drive profitable growth.
  • Manage the negotiations and terms relating to all respective product lines.
  • Manage selection growth and increase value for our customers.

Requirements:

  • Professional experience at a senior level (5-7 years) ideally in a retail, key account management or financial environment.
  • Extensive experience in vendor management and the related skills of budget control, performance analysis and contract management.
  • Highly skilled in building senior level internal and external relationships.
  • Extensive experience evaluating potential suppliers using criteria such as industry experience, capacity, quality standards and financial stability.
  • Ability to track and analyze vendor performance and generate reports for colleagues in purchasing, manufacturing and logistics.
  • Broad knowledge of vendor performance metrics and the capability of using vendor management software.
  • Proven ability to influence others in a business setting.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with an assertive approach.
  • Experience of managing and developing a high performance team.
  • Cross functional experience, especially finance, marketing or supply chain.
  • Strong retail/commercial experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and database work, with experience in SQL as a plus.

We are looking for a result-oriented, analytical individual who has excellent technical skills, to become a valuable member of our Hastings Information Technology Department!

Responsibilities:

  • Provide analysis, development, testing, installation, and support of store servers, Point of Sale, and warehouse equipment.
  • Provide 2nd tier troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems with POS equipment working closely Hastings Help Desk.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of all POS equipment..
  • Oversee store personnel and ensure that all corporate policies and procedures are followed.
  • Maintain awareness of competitors and their promotions and offerings.
  • Responsible for setting up, maintaining, and upgrading all Linux servers including hardware, operating system, and transferring of database.
  • Travel to new stores, remodels, and relocations install and test store POS equipment.
  • Facilitate problem resolution by reviewing open trouble tickets, gathering additional information, documenting ticket information, proactively noting the status of the issue and driving resolution process.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management or a related field or two years retail management experience.
  • 5-8 years of related IT experience.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, telephone and email etiquette.
  • Ability to work independently or as a team.
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments, schedules and situations.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to create and follow instructions.
  • Must carry a cell phone and be the escalation point for issues as an on call rotation.

The Accounting Manager is a responsible for ensuring accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes and reporting.  The Accounting Manager applies GAAP principles to all accounting functions; reviews journal entries and account reconciliations; provides critical analysis of changes in account balances; assists in project implementations; supports year-end audit; and supervises, trains and mentors a team of 3 accountants. 
This position reports to the Corporate Controller and is responsible for overseeing the daily operations for financial accounting, general journal postings, month end close processes, balance sheet reconciliations.  He/she must possess the highest level of integrity, honesty and openness.  Additionally, we require an individual that is detail oriented, structured, disciplined, and has demonstrated supervisory skills and experience. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review staff journal entries and procedures to ensure accurate and timely posting of transactions.
  • Review staff balance sheet account reconciliations; ensure open items are resolved timely.
  • Reconcile complex general ledger and income statement accounts containing a high volume of transactions.
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes to ensure accurate and timely delivery of financial reports.
  • Point person for discussion and research of complex accounting issues as they arise.
  • Answer accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations to ensure compliance with GAAP.
  • Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
  • Maintains financial security by following internal controls.
  • Create efficiencies and continuous improvement in the accounting and reporting processes.
  • Mentor, train, and develop the accounting staff.
  • Coordinate year-end audit assignments and ensure timely delivery of required items.

Requirements:

  • Relocation to Amarillo, TX
  • BBA in Accounting
  • Certified Public Accountant
  • Public accounting experience preferred
  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a corporate setting preferred

The Fixture Set Manager is responsible for the installation of all fixtures in a retail store following the fixtures layout. They are responsible in whole or in part for all items, reports, processes, and procedures associated with installation, and ordering of fixtures for assigned projects. The Fixture Set Manager will also be responsible for handling additional requests from Fixture Shop management or outside departments that arise during a normal course of business.

  • Record all purchase orders daily basis from vendors, into project budgets.
  • Timely and proper reviewing of the fixture layouts to work of fixture cost estimates and purchase orders for needed items.
  • Coordinate additional personal during the fixture set process, record time records on a daily basis.  Communicate the fixture set timeline daily and weekly to applicable team members during fixture set..
  • Coordinate daily & weekly schedule for set process and cover with other set team members.  
  • Reconcile expense statements received from travel expenses on a weekly basis and ensure proper coding to project budget.
  • Track all freight shipments to projects to ensure on time delivery and cost containment. .
  • Coordinate the daily installation of fixtures per fixture set plan during the schedule set up schedule.
  • Assist with the disposition of fixtures from closed stores and remodels to the fixture shop for reuse.
  • Ability to direct a team of 8-10 associates during the fixture set process and control labor and expenses related to the fixture installations.
