    You can check you order status online at any time. You will be prompted for your login and password, and after entering this information, you will have access to all orders placed within the last 90 days. you may also change the date range to see more orders.

  • Can I cancel an order after it has been submitted? If so, how should I do it?

Gohastings tries to ship all orders promptly, but if needed, we will always try our best to cancel any orders at our customer’s request. However, if an item is about to ship or is too far into the system for the cancellation process, we will be UNABLE to cancel that particular order. If the order cannot be canceled and does actually ship to you, we will need you to return the order to us by following the return instructions located in the packing list. Once the order has been returned, we will gladly refund the order amount back to your credit card account. If we are successful in canceling your order, you will receive e-mail notification as to the cancellation.

  • Does goHastings.com sell or redeem gift certificates or giftcards?

Hastings Entertainment Giftcards can be purchased and redeemed at GoHastings.com, or at any of our physical store locations. Up to five different giftcards can be used to purchase product online or at the stores.

Hastings Entertainment Giftcard Restrictions:

  1. Giftcards are not for immediate use. You will not be able to use your giftcard online until you receive your giftcard.
  2. Giftcards normally arrive in 3-7 business days. All giftcards are shipped USPS.
  3. Giftcard purchases cannot be combined with other purchases.
  4. Giftcards are not returnable or redeemable for cash.
  5. Gohastings is not responsible for lost or stolen giftcards.
  6. A Credit card will be required for purchases if the amount of the purchase goes above the value of the giftcards.

  • How do I use more than one giftcard for payment online?

Up to 5 giftcards can be used to purchase product online. Enter the first giftcard and redemption number on the payment page then click the "Enter Another" button to enter another giftcard.  Enter the giftcard and redemption number of any other giftcard to be used for payment.

Note : Be sure to keep the first giftcard entered because any refund will be credited to that giftcard.

Products available on our site are updated daily. A product may appear as out of stock one day, but may be back in stock the next. You can always add an out of stock item to your wish list.

Yes! Almost all Cd’s have track samples underneath the CD description. Just click on the play button next to the track title to listen to the song.

  • What are product ratings?
 

On goHastings.com we use a variety of product ratings and labels to indicate to customers the general age audience for whom the product is intended, including warnings of products that have adult themes.
Some of the music product on goHastings is labeled with the "Parental Discretion Is Advised" label. This label program is voluntary and administered by the record labels. Products identified by this logo may contain strong language and/or depictions of violence, sex, substance abuse or other adult themes. On goHastings we use MPAA ratings to for our movies and ESRB ratings for our listed games.


MPAA ratings are as follows:*


  • G GENERAL AUDIENCES: A G-rated motion picture contains nothing in theme, language, nudity, sex, violence or other matters that, in the view of the Rating Board, would offend parents whose younger children view the motion picture. The G rating is not a “certificate of approval,” nor does it signify a “children’s” motion picture. Some snippets of language may go beyond polite conversation but they are common everyday expressions. No stronger words are present in G-rated motion pictures. Depictions of violence are minimal. No nudity, sex scenes or drug use are present in the motion picture.

  • PG PARENTAL GUIDANCE: A PG-rated motion picture should be investigated by parents before they let their younger children attend. The PG rating indicates, in the view of the Rating Board, that parents may consider some material unsuitable for their children, and parents should make that decision.

  • PG-13 PARENTS STRONGLY CAUTIONED: A PG-13 rating is a sterner warning by the Rating Board to parents to determine whether their children under age 13 should view the motion picture, as some material might not be suited for them. A PG-13 motion picture may go beyond the PG rating in theme, violence, nudity, sensuality, language, adult activities or other elements, but does not reach the restricted R category.

  • R RESTRICTED: A R-rated motion picture, in the view of the Rating Board, contains some adult material. An R-rated motion picture may include adult themes, adult activity, hard language, intense or persistent violence, sexually-oriented nudity, drug abuse or other elements, so that parents are counseled to take this rating very seriously. Children under 17 are not allowed to attend R-rated motion pictures unaccompanied by a parent or adult guardian. Parents are strongly urged to find out more about R-rated motion pictures in determining their suitability for their children. Generally, it is not appropriate for parents to bring their young children with them to R-rated motion pictures.

  • NC-17 NO ONE UNDER 17 & UNDER ADMITTED: An NC-17 rated motion picture is one that, in the view of the Rating Board, most parents would consider patently too adult for their children 17 and under. No children will be admitted. NC-17 does not mean “obscene” or “pornographic” in the common or legal meaning of those words, and should not be construed as a negative judgment in any sense. The rating simply signals that the content is appropriate only for an adult audience. An NC-17 rating can be based on violence, sex, aberrational behavior, drug abuse or any other element that most parents would consider too strong and therefore off-limits for viewing by their children.

  • NOT RATED: Not rated Movie products have not been rated by the MPAA. Product without a rating may contain adult content.

  • RATING PENDING: Titles listed as RP (Rating Pending) have been submitted to the ESRB and are awaiting final rating. (This symbol appears only in advertising prior to a game’s release.)
