Assembled by Dominican producers Ram?n Cordero and Martires de Le?n in 1998, Monchy & Alexandra comprises Ram?n Rijo (aka Monchy) (born in La Romana in 1977) and Alexandra Cabrera de la Cruz (aka Alexandra) (born in Santo Domingo in 1978). A successful international tour followed their first hit, "Hoja en Blanco."
