Lauraine Snelling began her career in writing in 1982 with Tragedy on the Toutle. She won two awards: the Silver Angel award for An Untamed Land and the Romance Writers of American Golden Heart for Song of Laughter. Lauraine is married and has 3 children. She currently resides in Tehachapi, CA.
