Producer Kathleen Kennedy started her show-business career at San Diego TV station KCST. In 1981, Kennedy joined forces with her husband Frank Marshall and cinema wunderkind Steven Spielberg to form Amblin Entertainment. The company has profitably specialized in fantasy and adventure: ET (1982), Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984), Back to the Future (1985), Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988), Jurassic Park (1993). Kennedy has also served as co-producer of Spielberg's "serious" endeavors The Color Purple (1984), Empire of the Sun (1987), and the Oscar-winning Schindler's List (1993). For Amblin's TV division, Kathleen Kennedy and Frank Marshall have co-produced Amazing Stories (1985-87) Tiny Toon Adventures (1990-92) and Animaniacs (1993- ). ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi
