Bestselling fantasy and paranormal romance author P.C. Cast was born in Watseka, Illinois and grew up in both her home state and Oklahoma. She has taught English in a high school in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, as well as at the Tulsa Community College. Cast writes the Goddess Summoning, Partholon, and Divine series, and she co-writes the popular young adult House of Night novels with her daughter Kristin. She has received much recognition for her works and has won the following awards: Prism, Holt Medallion, Daphne du Maurier, Booksellers Best, Affaire de Coeur Readers Choice, and Laurel Wreath. Her title Neferetts Curse made The New York Times Best Seller List for 2013.
