When you have found an item or items you wish to
purchase, click on the Express Order or the Add to Basket button, and the
item will automatically be placed into your shopping basket. If you choose Add to
Basket, the Your Shopping Basket page appears, which includes the following
areas.

From this page, you can perform any of the following
special services.

- Make any changes to the Quanity or Services you desire.
- If you made changes, you can update the items, quantities,
or services in your basket by clicking on the Update Basket button.
- If you want an item you already placed in your shopping
basket to disappear completely, click on the Remove from Basket button.
- If you decide not to purchase a certain product at this
time, but think you might like to later, you can place that item in a holding area known
as your Wish List. To do this, click on the Add to Wish List button within the area
of the product you want to send to your Wish List.
- After you have selected and changed all products,
quantities, and services, You can then click on the Proceed to Checkout button.

Ordering with Express Order is the fastest and
easiest way to order online. However, you should use the Shopping Basket if you wish to:

- Indefinitely hold an item for purchase at a later
date by moving it from the basket to your Wish List.
Adjust your shipping preferences based upon
availability.

With Express Order, your Ship To: and Bill
To: information is stored on your personal computer for one year. Just enter the
asked-for information once, and the next time you wish to make an order, choose Express
Order, and your personal information is filled in for you. All you will need to fill in is
the Shipping Method and your Credit Card information.

You may change or cancel your Express Order any time
after the order has been placed. At the bottom of the order summary are links on which you
can change the quantity of any item or cancel your order. You may find your order summary
page by clicking at any time on "Your Account" at the top of every page and by
choosing View My Express Orders. If no link appears, you do not have an order
pending. After several minutes, please phone our Customer Service Representatives toll
free at 1-877-HASTINGS (427-8464).

does not treat out-of-print books any different than other orders. Even when a publisher
decides not to print more copies of a book, some copies are probably still available, and gohastings.com
will research all of our vendors attempting to find a copy for you.

If you place the book in your Shopping Basket and
complete your order, our staff will search for it for you. And don't worry! Just as with
all other gohastings.com orders, your credit card will not be charged until the
book ships, so you will pay nothing if we do not find the book for you. When we do find
the book, you will be notified by e-mail that the book is being shipped.

If, after 30 days, we do not find the book, gohastings.com
will e-mail a cancellation notification to you. But this notification is not a reason for
you to discontinue your search! Just place your order again, and we will continue the
search where we left off. Do not reorder until you have received an e-mail notification
from gohastings.com

| Change Or
Cancel A Pending Order |

At the time an order is placed, it becomes locked in
for the specific items that are listed on the order. We are unable to ADD or SUBTRACT
items from that order once it has been entered into the system.
As far as Canceling an order, we will always try our
best to Cancel any orders at our customer's request. However, if an item is about to ship
or is too far into the system for the cancellation process, we will be UNABLE to cancel
that particular order. If the order cannot be Canceled and does actually ship to you, We
will need you to Return the order by following the return instructions located in the
packing list. Once the order has been returned, we will gladly refund the order amount
back to your credit card account. If we are successful in canceling your order, you will
receive e-mail notification as to the cancellation.
