Order Status
  • How do I check the status of my order?

    You can check you order status online at any time. You will be prompted for your login and password, and after entering this imformation, you will have access to all orders placed within the last 90 days. you may also change the date range to see more orders.

  • How long does it take to get my order delivered?

Shipping time is dependent upon the shipping method you choose. To determine when you can expect to receive your order, use this formula:

(Availability) + (Shipping Time) = Total Delivery Time

  • Can I cancel an order after it has been submitted? If so, how should I do it?

Gohastings tries to ship all orders promptly, but if needed, we will always try our best to cancel any orders at our customer's request. However, if an item is about to ship or is too far into the system for the cancellation process, we will be UNABLE to cancel that particular order. If the order cannot be canceled and does actually ship to you, we will need you to return the order to us by following the return instructions located in the packing list. Once the order has been returned, we will gladly refund the order amount back to your credit card account. If we are successful in canceling your order, you will receive e-mail notification as to the cancellation.

  • What is the difference in shipping preferences?

This option is necessary when ordering items not yet released in conjunction with items already available.  If you would like to wait until all items are available before shipping, select the "Wait until the entire order is ready before shipping" option, which will reduce your shipping costs.  However, if you would like us not to wait until your pre-order item(s) become available before shipping your available items, please select the "Ship the items I ordered as they become available" option. Please note that if you ordered more than 1 item, they may be shipped in different boxes with no change in your shipping price

Products
  • Does gohastings.com sell or redeem gift certificates or giftcards?

Hastings Entertainment Giftcards can be purchased and redeemed at GoHastings.com, or at any of our physical store locations.  Multiple giftcards can be used to purchase product online or at the stores.

Hastings Entertainment Giftcard Restrictions:

  1. Giftcards are not for immediate use. You will not be able to use your giftcard online until you receive your giftcard.
  2. Giftcards normally arrive in 3-7 business days.  All giftcards are shipped USPS.
  3. Giftcards can be used in stores or online.
  4. Giftcard purchases cannot be combined with other purchases.
  5. Giftcards are not returnable or redeemable for cash.
  6. Gohastings is not responsible for lost or stolen giftcards.
  7. A Credit card will be required for purchases if the amount of the purchase goes above the value of the giftcards.
  • How do I use more than one giftcard for payment online?

Multiple giftcards can be used to purchase product online. Enter the first giftcard and redemtion number on the payment page then click the "Enter Another" button to enter another giftcard.  Enter the giftcard and redemtion number of any other giftcard to be used for payment.

Note :  Be sure to keep the first giftcard entered because any refund will be credited to that giftcard.

  • If gohastings.com shows an item that I am searching for as out of stock, does that mean it will never become available at this site?

Products available on our site are updated daily. A product may appear as out of stock one day, but may be back in stock the next. You can always add an out of stock item to your wish list.

  • Can I listen to a CD before I buy it?

Sure! First go to the product's Title Information page. All of our available audio clips are in Windows Media format. If you do not have Windows Media Player installed on your computer, you can download it from GoHastings.com. Simply click on the Windows Media button on the left hand side of our Music department page. Now, simply click on the song title. Audio clips may not be available for all song titles. 

  • I thought I downloaded an audio clip, but I can't find it. What went wrong?

As the files are streaming media, the audio clips are never downloaded to your computer, and will not be stored there. Once you click on a song title, the music will stream to your computer.

Ordering from gohastings.com is fast and easy. When you have found an item or items you wish to purchase, click on the Express Order button or the Add to Basket button, as shown below, and the item will automatically be placed in your shopping basket.

  • How do I order out-of-print books?

At GoHastings.com, we strive to provide you with accurate information concerning availability. Therefore, even if a title is out of print, we do not list it as available to order unless one of our suppliers is listing that title as on-hand. Availability can change, and it is possible that the title may go out of stock before it is shipped. However, in the majority of cases, you will order out-of-print books from gohastings.com just like any other book.

  • What is Express Ordering and how does it work?

Ordering with Express Order is the fastest and easiest way to order online. With Express Order, your Ship To: and Bill To: information is stored on your personal computer for one year. Just enter the asked-for information once, and the next time you wish to make an order, choose Express Order, and your personal information is filled in for you. All you will need to fill in is the Shipping Method and your Credit Card information.
